Personal Hobbies and Interests
Dr. Schuljak comes to Charlotte with his partner, Ben, who is also a veterinarian, and they have 2 dogs – a shepherd mix named Rhea and a Goldendoodle named Hank. They also have a reptile collection including a black and white Argentine tegu, a gargoyle gecko, a banana ball python, 2 sulcatas and a Russian tortoise. When he has down time from his busy life as a veterinarian, Dr. Schuljak enjoys science fiction and fantasy, taking his dogs on hikes, going to the movies, and woodworking.
Favorite Part of My Job
His professional interests include exotic pet care, focusing on reptile husbandry and care, as well as dentistry and surgery of small animals.
Education
Dr. Schuljak is originally from Indiana and earned his bachelor's degree at Indiana University. His love for veterinary medicine led him to Florida where he attended University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine.
Work History
We are excited to welcome Dr. Josh Schuljak as our newest associate veterinarian in the Summer of 2024! Dr. Schuljak is looking forward to joining Team QCAH. He chose Charlotte to be his new home.
